The Pennsylvania Bar Association Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Committee analyzes cybersecurity issues and educates the association’s members about legal, regulatory and industry standards that preserve the confidentiality of protected information. The committee advocates for:

• Best practices and legal and regulatory requirements that address data privacy concerns;
• Best practices to prevent, detect, and mitigate data breaches; and
• Unified standards.

This Pennsylvania Bar Association committee launched in May 2018.
